Director of AI Open Innovation and Amplification at IBM
Technology leader with a strong track record of bringing emerging technologies in AI, accelerated science and quantum computing out of the lab and into the world. PhD physicist with deep experience leading teams across research, software engineering, design, product management, sales, ecosystem partnerships and open source. I am energized by leading teams with bold missions and the potential for large impact.
Christopher Nguyen
CEO & Co-Founder of Aitomatic
Dr. Christopher Nguyen is CEO and co-founder of Aitomatic, a Silicon Valley leader in Industrial GenAI. As President and CEO of Arimo-Panasonic, he spearheaded Panasonic’s global Industrial AI initiatives. At Google, as its first Engineering Director, he launched Google Apps/Gmail and scaled AI-backed systems for millions worldwide, earning the Google Founders Award.

Chairman AMI Labs & Chief Science Advisor
Yann LeCun is Executive Chairman of AMI Labs, the AI world-model startup he co-founded after leaving Meta, and Silver Professor at NYU's Courant Institute. A 2018 Turing Award recipient and pioneer of convolutional neural networks, he serves as Chief Science Advisor to the AI Alliance.
Rebecca Weiss
Executive Director, MLCommons
Rebecca Weiss is the Executive Director of MLCommons, as well as a distinguished data scientist and computational social scientist known for innovative large-scale data analysis of online behavior. Previously, she was the head of Research and Innovation at Mozilla, where she created the privacy-preserving Rally user data donation platform, and also founded and led the Firefox Data Science organization.
Greg Lindahl
CTO at Common Crawl Foundation
Greg Lindahl is an astrophysicist and technologist who has advised Common Crawl since 2012. He was previously the Founder and CTO of Blekko, an internet search engine. Before joining Common Crawl full-time in 2023, Greg was a member of the Event Horizon Telescope Collaboration, working at the Center for Astrophysics - Harvard & Smithsonian. He has also contributed to the Wayback Machine at the Internet Archive. Greg is an experienced entrepreneur who has founded three successful startups.

Jose is the Founder and CEO of BrightQuery (BQ): The Factual AI Company, where he also leads BQ’s open data efforts through opendata.org. With over a decade of academic and commercial collaboration with U.S. statistical agencies like the IRS, NCSES, Census Bureau, BLS, and SBA, Jose brings deep expertise in economic and financial data.

AI Alliance Technology Strategy
Dean is the AI Alliance's Head of Technology, guiding the technical direction of its working groups and open source programs. A physicist turned technologist, he is a distinguished distributed systems and AI engineer — with deep roots and a veteran of Apache Spark, Kafka, and Ray ecosystems — and a prolific O'Reilly author whose books have helped shape how a generation of engineers builds at scale.

Kaushik is a noted ecosystem builder and strategist across voice AI, hardware, and developer ecosystems. As Partner at the AI Alliance, he leads ecosystem and partnership strategy and growth across 200+ member organizations, working groups, and open source communities — driving initiatives for the AIA and scaling partners for Tapestry.
Dr. Agata Ferretti
AI Alliance Lead for Europe
Agata leads the AI Alliance's work in Europe, coordinating with member organizations, regional working groups, and EU policy and standards bodies on open source AI. Based at IBM Research Zurich, she brings deep expertise and is a thought leader in AI ethics, data governance, and responsible innovation — engaging policymakers, researchers, and industry stakeholders with a Ph.D. from ETH Zurich and prior contributions to the WHO and OECD.

AI Alliance Marketing Lead
Santanna leads marketing at the AI Alliance — running the brand, messaging, and channels that connect researchers, developers, and member organizations to the alliance's work in open source AI. He manages the day-to-day marketing function for both the Community 501(c)(3) and Innovation Association 501(c)(6).

The AI Alliance is deeply focused on ensuring AI is safe by developing tools, methods and best practices.
